GRIB is a coalition of six faith-based groups: Perinton, Penfield, Greece, Brighton, Harvest Home/Henrietta, and Habitat Interfaith Partnership/Pittsford. As a coalition, they work to transform lives and promote positive, lasting social, economic, and spiritual change in our community. By fostering mutual trust and shared goals, they demonstrate the power of responsible stewardship and collaborative action in making a real difference.
Habitat welcomes individuals from all faith backgrounds, as well as those with no religious affiliation. Our mission unites us in the belief that everyone deserves a decent place to live, and we come together around this shared vision. We are open to partnering with anyone who shares this vision, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views, or any other distinctions that often divide us.
At Habitat for Humanity, we are committed to respecting all people’s beliefs. Habitat will not proselytize, nor will we collaborate with organizations or individuals who seek to impose religious beliefs on others as part of their work with us. This means Habitat will never offer assistance with the expectation that people must convert to or adhere to a particular faith or engage with religious messaging.
